What changes the price
- What you book. Close-up magic alone costs less than a full stage hypnosis show. The full night, with magic, MC hosting, and the stage show, costs the most but replaces two or three separate vendors.
- Time on site. A 45-minute set is priced differently than a four-hour evening.
- Date. Friday and Saturday nights in December are the most requested dates of the year.
- Travel. Eric is based in Racine County. Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, and most of Chicagoland are local. Flights and hotels are added for events farther away.
- Customization. Custom content, like using your company's names or inside jokes, takes more prep.
Cheap vs. professional
You can find a magician for a few hundred dollars. The difference shows up in the room. A professional has done this in front of executives and clients hundreds of times. They know how to read the audience, when to stop, and how to make volunteers look good. At a company event, one uncomfortable moment costs more than the fee.
How to get more for your budget
- Combine roles. If Eric hosts your program and performs, you skip hiring a separate emcee.
- Pick a less busy date. Early December weeknights and January parties are easier to book.
- Book early. You get your first-choice date and time.
